Sunflower Children

The sunflower group also spend their day on the upper floor of the nursery using all of the areas with in their own routine. The activities and experiences the children are introduced to, are carefully planned to address important aspects of children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development. The children in this group work within the Foundation Stage of development. This builds on the skills and knowledge already acquired and reaffirms the overall development and understanding required as they move into their first school years. We believe in making learning fun and developing a thirst for learning, and in doing so, hope to provide firm foundations for the children to continue their educational journey. All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to the Education Grant from the term after their 3rd birthday (Please ask a member of staff for more information)
