Elliott Architects approach design with a philosophy rooted in thoughtful innovation rather than adhering to a predetermined house style. Their goal is to create meaningful spaces that not only fulfil the practical needs of users but also resonate with their surroundings through meticulous attention to detail and a deep sensitivity to context.
We were appointed by Elliott to rebrand the company and enhance their online presence to help them gain more of a foothold in the North East and national market. They were producing some of the best, award winning work in the country and the branding and website had to reflect this.
Our identity solution was an understated logo which has the ‘o’ of Elliott cut with a diagonal at an angle of 54°, the latitude of Hexham in Northumberland, where their head office is based. The identity was then flowed across all of their print and digital media.
The website, was designed and built to the client’s very high (but very welcome) expectations. The design is modern with a minimal feel, using large imagery and understated type to showcase their award winning work.
The Solution Group were excellent to work with and have shown great dedication to the rebranding and new website for our practice. Pete and Jonny understood the ethos of our company straight away and were proactive in developing a range of creative options for us to select and refine together. The result is a contemporary and sophisticated image which perfectly embodies our approach to architecture. As designers ourselves we extensively researched options for companies to help us with our graphic, branding and website requirements and quickly recognised that the Solution Group are extremely talented and a great fit for us to work with. We would highly recommend.
Also, with Jonny doing a bit of running and Pete looking like a cyclist, they are a combined duathlon duo ‘par excellence’; luckily, as far as we are aware, there are no serious swimmers at Solution, otherwise obviously we would not be able to use them given that triathletes are mental and its not a proper sport.
