One Life Triathlon

One Life Triathlon is one of the North East’s largest triathlon clubs for both children and adults. Based in Hexham, One Life is a community oriented club that provides the chance to try out, train and compete in the combined sport of triathlon. We designed the branding and kit for One Life Triathlon. A dynamic colourway was chosen alongside strong typography. The round icon represents the three disciplines of triathlon, the circle representing a bike wheel, the horizontal lines a running track, the arch represents a swimmers arm. The result is a very eye-catching clothing range for the Northumberland club.

We commissioned Pete McGlynn, at the Solution Group, to revamp the club’s identity and kit. Solution Group brought a fresh and contemporary approach to the project which combined a neat typographic lock-up of the club name with a dynamic symbol that used the initial letter of the club name, ‘O for Onelife’. This symbol also included abstract representations of all three triathlon disciplines in an eye-catching format.

The designs for the logo and club kit were immediately very popular with club members. The new colours reference the club’s history but bring it up to date with a memorable and striking series of Tri-suits, Hoodies and T-shirts which are already bringing very positive compliments from other clubs around the region.

We were very happy with how the process was handled and we are delighted with the finished results.
