Hit the North Festival

Hit the North Festival – the North East’s largest inner-city music festival has boasted top acts such as Slaves, Lethal Bizzle, Frightened Rabbit amongst 100s of other bands. We designed their identity, website, app, magazine, gig posters and social media advertising. To help distance Hit the North from the typical ‘summer of love’ branding of southern festivals, we took our inspiration from Newcastle’s strong industrial heritage and utilised yellow and black, colours that usually signify danger, for maximum stand out.
